My journey is a story written through generations of hope, hard work, and resilience. Born and raised in England with roots in Jamaica, I’m a fourth generation entrepreneur. I’ve inherited a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication from my grandfather—a master cabinet maker, and my mother—a skilled seamstress who once designed for celebrities right from our family home.
Growing up in such an environment, I saw the sacrifices and the sheer commitment needed to turn a personal skill into a thriving business. It taught me the profound impact that businesses can have on individual lives and entire communities. This lead me to start a home improvement business, aimed at helping the men from the shelter where I worked. This took us all the way to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina—where we helped rebuild homes and lives.
Leading the Black Business Alliance isn’t just a role for me, it’s a continuation of my family’s entrepreneurial spirit and a personal mission to empower others. I’m here to help nurture your passions and push you beyond just dreaming—to truly making a difference in our community. Together, we can create legacies that last and transform the fabric of our community for the better.
